Preity Zinta Returning to Big Screen with Ishkq in Paris

Actress Preity Zinta was last seen on screen in Deepa Mehta's Canadian film Heaven on Earth. Now, the Bollywood star is all set to make her comeback to films with Ishkq in Paris after two years of absence. This movie will be produced under her own production company PZNZ Media.

Preity Zinta recently took to her twitter page to share her excitement about her maiden home production Ishkq in Paris. The Bollywood actress tweeted, "So excited to start ISHkQ IN PARIS soon! Been a long time since I've been in front of a camera. Too long! Time 2 get back into the groove!"

The dimpled lass' upcoming movie Ishkq in Paris is romantic comedy film, which will be directed by Prem Soni. Preity Zinta shares a special bond with Paris. She gushed, "Really looking forward to going to my favorite city PARIS! I'm sure in some birth I lived there. That's why the city keeps calling me back...!"

However, Preity Zinta has several hit films like Koi Mil Gaya, Kal Ho Na Ho, Veer Zaara, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna to her credit. The star, who is the owner of IPL team Kings XI Punjab, was concentrating on the IPL. She will also appear on the hit TV show Guinness World Records - Ab India Todega in 2012.

Can’t make peace between warring Khans: Preity

Preity Zinta, a good friend of both Salman and Shah Rukh, says it is beyond her to bring about a truce between the two warring Khans.

But interestingly, Salman is going to appear on Preity’s upcoming chat-show, which is being produced by SRK`s Red Chillies Entertainment.

When asked if she tried to engineer a patch-up between the two superstars, Preity said, "Please...somebody help me escape this question!"

Salman and Preity have worked together in films like `Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega` (2000), `Chori Chori Chupke Chupke` (2001), `Jaaneman` (2006). Most of them bombed at the Box Office.

Shah Rukh and Preity were seen together in `Dil Se` (1998), `Kal Ho Na Ho` (2003), `Veer Zaara` (2004) and `Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna` (2006). All these were hits.

"Each one of us has his or her own equation in the industry. This is really beyond me...or anybody else. Let`s wait and watch," Preity said.

The bubbly actress will have both Salman and Shah Rukh -- thought separately -- on her chat show `Up, Close And Personal With PZ` that will be aired from September 3 on UTV Stars.

Preity Zinta turns Producer

It’s been a growing trend ever since actress Sushmita Sen launched her own production company followed by Lara Dutta, Dia Mirza, Ameesha Patel and now Preity Zinta too joins the brigade as she is set to produce her first film, Ishkq In Paris.

The actress, who was last seen in Heroes [2008], is off late associated with her IPL franchise Kings Eleven Punjab. Her film with Shiney Ahuja is put on hold. Preity is currently holidaying and announced her first production on twitter by saying that, “Ok Guys ! Here it is..... The movie I am going to produce is called "Ishkq In Paris " & I am SUUUPEERR excited about it !!!! Ting :-) !!!”.

The movie will be directed Prem Soni of Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna [2009] fame. Interestingly Preity has done an item number in Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna. “Thanku all 4 all ur good wishes! Am looking forward 2 some fireworks in Paris this summer. Mother India producing it with me ;-) so Ting!”, concluded the bubbly actress.

Preity Zinta says, Brett Lee link-up news stale

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta seems to have got quite bored with her constant link-up to Australian fast bowler Brett Lee, who now plays for her Indian Premier League team Kings XI Punjab.

The actress, who was earlier dating industrialist Ness Wadia, took to micro-blogging site Twitter to tell her friends and fans that she is just friends with Lee.

"I think being romantically linked to Brett every year is outdated and stale news now! So sorry to say folks NO NEWS here! FRIENDS yeesss (sic)," posted Preity.

The duo was recently spotted together at a restaurant in Mumbai, and according to reports, they chose to exit separately to avoid paparazzi.

Lee has expressed on many occasions earlier that Preity is his favourite actress.
